I had lost it all.

My son’s father abandoned us. He was our sole provider. But drugs and illusion took him down a dark path, and I was tasked with raising our child with special needs alone.

I had to figure out something fast. Money is freedom. And I had none. I was a full-time caregiver to my boy with Prader-Willi Syndrome, which meant that a regular 9-5 gig was out of the question.

I had to dig deep. I needed to be the hero of my own story and create financial freedom for me and my son.

As I embraced the support of my community around me I realized that

every other woman I meet has been plunged into similar depths of despair, and at some point in her own journey, she has had to reinvent herself on the way out.

And often with little to no resources available to her.

So, I set out to create exactly that, something that goes beyond the mere feeling of empowerment—
